The lattice is inspired by the mashrabiya of old Cairo, the carved window screens that let light and breeze through while keeping the world outside a little mysterious. The tassels echo the caravans that have crossed this desert for thousands of years.

An honest note on gold plating
These are gold plated, not solid gold, and I want you to know exactly what that means before you choose them.
With wear, the plating will fade. When it does, the brass underneath begins to oxidize. The bright, mirror-like gold shine will give way to a matte finish in deep amber, bronze, or brown. How fast this happens depends on your skin, your climate, and how often you wear them.
This is true of all gold-plated jewelry, whoever makes it. It's the natural life of plating, and it's what allows me to offer these at an accessible price rather than the cost of solid gold. Some women love the aged, antique look it takes on. If you'd rather have the shine back, they can always be re-plated, should you wear them to death. Which I hope you do.
Brass can occasionally leave a faint green tint on skin. It's harmless and washes right off.
Care
To help the plating last, avoid being a mermaid in them: no ocean, pool, or shower, and take them off for workouts. If they get wet, rinse in fresh water and dry completely. Store in a cool, dry, sacred space. 🤍
